Dr. Jon Ver Halen is a board-certified plastic surgeon with a passion for reconstructive microsurgery. He has extensive experience in repairing complex wounds and restoring function and form to patients who have suffered injuries or illnesses. Dr. Ver Halen is also a skilled researcher and educator, and he is committed to providing his patients with the most advanced and compassionate care possible.
Dr. Ver Halen completed his medical degree at Harvard Medical School and his residency training in general surgery and plastic surgery at the University of Washington. He then completed a fellowship in microvascular surgery at the MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Dr. Ver Halen has held faculty positions at the University of Tennessee and Baylor Scott and White Healthcare. He is currently in private practice in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Ver Halen is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the Plastic Surgery Research Council, the American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery, and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
